St. Edmund’s Christmas services started on 10th December with ‘A Christmas Celebration’, an enjoyable evening of traditional music, poetry, readings & songs followed by mulled wine & mince pies.
Our Carol Service by Candlelight with the reading of 9 lessons on the 20th December was, as always, well attended.
Christingle on Christmas Eve was as usual joyous service attended our record numbers of children and adults alike.
The Midnight Eucharist & Christmas Day Service finished off our Christmas Celebrations and we would like to thank all those that helped, attended & supported these events.
We were able to donate from our Christmas Services the following:
The Children’s Society - £300 (Christingle).
The 'Christmas Celebration Evening' Raised £150 for Torrington Food Bank & The Carol Service raised £250 for North Devon Hospice.
